License
What you can do with the files you download. Two licenses, one line between them: whether you can sell what you make.
Personal use license
$7 per design
Make as many versions as you like, for yourself. You can't sell what you make.
What you can do
- Make as many versions of the design as you like: any name, any layer count, any machine, as many times as you want.
- Print, cut, and engrave as many copies as you want for yourself, your family, and gifts.
- Change the size, the material, and the colors to suit what you have.
What you can't do
- Sell the things you make from it, or trade them for anything of value. That needs the commercial license.
- Share, send, resell, or publish the files, including the SVG, PNG, .xs, .empf, .lbrn, and .dxf inside your zip.
- Upload the files to a marketplace, a file-sharing site, a Facebook group, or a subscription bundle.
- Claim the artwork as your own drawing.
Commercial license
$29 per design
Everything in the personal license, plus the right to sell the finished items you make.
What you can do
- Everything in the personal license: unlimited versions, unlimited copies for yourself.
- Sell the finished physical items you make from the design: craft fairs, Etsy, your own shop, local wholesale.
- No unit cap, no reporting, no cut of your sales. Sell one or sell a thousand.
- Use photos of the items you made in your own listings and ads.
What you can't do
- Sell, share, or give away the digital files themselves. You sell what you make, never the file. This is the one hard line.
- Sell the design as a digital download, a bundle, a subscription, or a print-on-demand product.
- Use the artwork, or any part of it, as your logo, your shop name, or a trademark, or register it as your own.
- Sub-license it to another maker. One license covers one person or one business.
Questions
Where is my license?
Every zip has a LICENSE.txt next to the README, so your terms are on your computer with the files, not only on this page.
I bought personal and now I want to sell.
Write to hello@bluefloorstudio.co and pay the difference. You keep the files you already have.
Can I sell the finished pieces at a craft fair?
With the commercial license, yes, as many as you like. With the personal license, no.
Can I share the files with a friend who has the same machine?
No, on either license. That is the one rule with no exception: you sell or give away what you make, never the file.
